Women’s right in times of Corona

Helen Peter is 61 years old and lives in severe poverty. She does not have enough to eat, nor to the care of her basic hygienic necessities. She is married and has two children. Her older son tries to take care of her, but with limited resources. Her husband suffers from alcoholism and constantly gives her a hard time. Helen lives in a slurry area in a coconut thatched house – a very unstable structure that collapses every time the rain comes. She often suffers of fewer due to the unhygienic condition she lives in. She is trying to pay off her daughters dowry, but with little to no success. She does not have access to medical health care, and can not find a job as the license of fishery is only issued to men.
